Who we are
SB Chambers, located in Mahe, Seychelles, is a reputable legal practice led by a licensed Attorney-At-Law. At SB Chambers, we are committed to providing solution-oriented legal services. We prioritize achieving favorable outcomes for our clients while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. Our approach ensures that clients are fully informed and engaged throughout the legal process, with direct, hands-on attention from our Attorney-At-Law. The practice is actively involved in providing representation before all tribunals, boards, and courts of Seychelles, as well as offering out-of-court legal services.

Our Lead Attorney
After graduating with an LLB with Honours from the University of London International Programmes, our lead Attorney, Ms Shantana Barbe, has built a successful career over the past six years, gaining an in-depth understanding of Seychelles' legal landscape. She has accumulated extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal matters, representing both local and international clients, including individuals and companies, both in and outside of court.
Our Attorney commenced her legal career in 2019 upon successfully passing her Bar Exam. She then completed a two-year pupillage, mentored by one of Seychelles' most respected lawyers, while working alongside skilled and experienced attorney colleagues. While working at one of the most established and reputable law firms in Seychelles, she became an Associate Attorney-At-Law, refining her expertise and gaining invaluable experience.
Apart from her work as a lawyer, our lead Attorney has also contributed to the development of future lawyers in Seychelles. From 2019 to 2021, she served as an Associate Lecturer, teaching Contract Law as part of the LLB programme offered by the University of London at the University of Seychelles.
Having benefitted from exceptional mentorship and years of practical legal experience, our Attorney launched her own practice in June 2024, with the goal of establishing a distinct niche in the legal profession and continuing to provide exceptional legal services to the public. She takes pride in her approachable demeanour, direct communication style, and unwavering confidence in advocating for her clients.
